About the University & Organizing Faculty
Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) is located in Tandojam, 18 km from Hyderabad, on the Hyderabad–Mirpurkhas dual carriageway. It is approximately 200 km from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, and is connected to Hyderabad via the Super-Highway. SAU provides quality education, research, and training with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration among technological and educational expertise through its well-established five faculties. Among these faculties, the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology has played a leading role since its inception by offering engineering solutions to agricultural challenges. It is dedicated to serving the needs of the people of Sindh Province in particular, and Pakistan in general. Its primary goal is to play a pivotal role in promoting technological advancements and their management for sustainable agricultural development in Pakistan through high-level education, research, and outreach activities that integrate technology, planning, and management.
Overview of the conference and invitation
Technological achievements and advancements in the field of agricultural engineering have revolutionized the world. These developments vary from institution to institution and from country to country. The work being conducted at FAET, as well as at national and international institutions, on new innovations and improvements in agricultural technology needs to be showcased and shared. Therefore, this conference has been planned to bring together all stakeholders to exchange their approaches, developments, and ideas, and to help prepare a roadmap for sustainable agriculture. The concept of the conference is to present ongoing research activities carried out by scientists, scholars, engineers, and students from universities and the agricultural sector around the world, thereby fostering research collaboration among various stakeholders. The conference organizing committee takes great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the 2nd International Conference on Agricultural Engineering and Technologies (ICAET 2026), scheduled to be held on 4–5 February 2026.
